Camp Rock 2...Didn't Rock!

I was so anticipating the sequel to Camp Rock! I absolutely loved the first movie because the movie showcased a variety of talent and almost every main character got a chance to show what they could do. I waited all summer for the movie, getting excited when I saw the promos on television and everything. When the day finally arrived and my brothers, me and my mom gathered around the television to finally see the sequel, and we were very disappointed! Camp Rock 2 was more like the Demi Devato and the Jonas Brothers show. Almost every song and performance featured Joe Jonas or Demi Devato or one of those other Jonas brothers. Alyson Stoner, (Catlin), Chloe Bridges ...Dana and Meaghan Martin ... Tess Tyler talents were not promoted, hardly at all. I think Camp Rock 2 missed the mark on the plot as well. Competing with Camp Star was a great idea, however, Connect 3 was supposed to be this popular band but yet, they could help the Camp win the final Jam. Although I was unhappy with the plot, the songs were "Tha  Bomb!" My favorite song was, "We Can't Back Down." What do you think?

So Long Kimora!!! We will Miss you at Phat Farm!

OMG!! Kimora Lee Simmons announced, Friday, August, 20, 2010, that she would be leaving her position as Creative Director of Baby Phat Family after 14 years. Kimora Lee Simmons has been the face of Baby Phat and not to mentioned it's best marketing promoter for years.This announcement leaves many wondering what the real story is behind her departure. According to sources, Kimora didn't leave on her own volition, she was forced out by by the Kellwood Company, who has owned Baby Phat for almost 7 years. Kimora has assured her fans, via twitter, that although she will not be working for Phat Farm/Baby Phat, she will still design clothes because that is her passion. It will be interesting to see who would dare take over the void that Kimora will leave upon her departure because Kimora is, and will always be the face of Baby Phat!

Clash of the Fashion Titans!!!

It has recently been reported that Will Smith's Children, Williow and Jaden Smith and Madonna's daugther Lourdes, will be coming out with their seperate fashion line this fall. I haven't seen a match up like this since Freddy Vs. Jason!!!! I am so excited because I believe that the Smith children and Lourdes all have unique styles.
It is been reported that Lourdes' creations will appear in Macy's stores across the nation on August 3rd and reports are that the fashion line, named Material Girl, will cost between $12.00 to $40.00, making it very affordable for families suffering financially in this recession. However, although the financial benefits are good, critics are saying that the creations are too adult for tweens and is not school appropriate...you think?! I can only guess that Madonna has definately put her "material girl" stamp on the outfits!
Additionally, Willow is launching her Fashion line this fall and her brother, Jaden of Karate Kid Fame, is in the works creating a separate line. According to sources, Willow shares a stylist with Rihanna and has been quoted as saying that Rihanna is her fashion idol...umh...I am interested to see what she comes up with! Selena Gomez...Singer, Actor and now Fashion Designer?!

Selena Gomez is offically a young woman who is trying to take on the world! She is the star of Disney's "Wizards of Weaverly Place" and has two CD's to her credit. Now she is creating a fashion line, due out in Kmart Stores just in time for school. Selena's Fashion Line is appropriately called "Dream Out Loud" and is now available on Facebook so that enthusastic fans can be updated about her fashion line. Selena's clothes are colorful and very playful Her patterns are feminine and funky and has just the right mixture of "the nice girl" with a lot of flare. Her line also features flowery patterns scarfs and punches of color everywhere... including the tights! I can't wait to see what she decides to do next!

Too Much!

Lindsay Lohan drank while she was driving and was arrested.Then when she was sentenced in court she didn't show up because she went out of town when she wasn't supposed to so she received 90 days in jail. I believe she deserved her sentence because she disobeyed the judge and she broke the law by drinking and driving. I don't believe that she is a very good role model but I think her 90 sentence will make her think about what she did and hopefully she will change!

Justin Bieber on CSI !!!!

According to sources, Justin Bieber has expanded his resume and has adding acting to his list of "things to accomplish". He will debut his acting chops on a guest shot on CSI on September 23 on CBS. He is going to play a "bad boy" who is have trouble with his brother and is going to have to make tough decisions according to Anthing Hollywood.

I am soooo looking forward to seeing him on CSI because I am totally into Justin! I am sure that he will be great on the show because he is such a good singer! Tell me what you think!! Enter a comment below!
